Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how HockeyStack, Inc. (“Bourne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on usebourne.com (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include pixels, tags, and local storage that work in a comparable way. We use both first-party technologies (set by us) and third-party ones (set by our partners).

2. How we ask for consent

The first time you visit the Site, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, or choose which categories to allow. Visitors in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before any non-essential cookies are set; elsewhere, non-essential cookies may be set by default and you can opt out at any time. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. You can change your choices whenever you like using the control (also linked in the footer).

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to function and to remember your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off.

Marketing

These let advertising partners measure visits, attribute traffic, and tailor ads. They load only when you allow this category. Allowing them may be a “sale”/“sharing” under some US state laws (see Section 4).

Technology Provider Purpose
Visitor identification RB2B / Retention.com Identifies companies and associated contacts visiting the Site for marketing.
LinkedIn Insight Tag LinkedIn Advertising measurement, conversion tracking, and retargeting.

4. Managing and opting out

  • Use the control to change your choices at any time.
  • Opt out of RB2B marketing emails at app.retention.com/optout, and opt out under GDPR at rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out.
  • Manage LinkedIn ad preferences in your LinkedIn settings.
  • We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we automatically treat it as opting out of marketing cookies, so they will not load unless you later turn them back on.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how the Site works.

Allowing the “Marketing” category may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some US state privacy laws (the “Analytics” category is first-party and is not). Turning the Marketing category off, clicking “Reject all,” or sending a GPC signal opts you out. See our Privacy Policy for your full rights.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the technologies we use change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again.
